It's time to register for the 2012 Fall Recreational soccer season! The North Smithfield Youth Soccer Association is now taking online registrations. Registration can be completed by following this link:     

Fall Registration

Player information for those who registered for last Fall's rec program has been retained, so the registration process will be very easy. The online payment option will continue to be offered to make completing the registration process easier than ever.

The fall recreational soccer season will begin on Saturday, August 25th and runs through the end of October for children ages 5-16. This year we project we will have five coed leagues - U6, U8, U10, U12 and U14/U16. As always, final divisional structure is subject to change based upon age and gender makeup of registrants received at registration deadline. The U6 division will begin their season on Saturday, September 8th.

This year will be our second season in which we partner with Challenger Sports, who will be working with players and coaches throughout the Fall season to develop a top flight soccer program in North Smithfield. NSYSA and Challenger have been working together for years through their summer camps and skills clinics. We are happy to now extend that relationship to include extensive skills development and coaches training during our Fall program from two dedicated Challenger Professionals.

Please remember that NSYSA Spring Select teams are comprised primarily of players competing in our Fall Rec program. Registering for, and playing in, the Fall Rec program gives the players the best possibility to play competitive Spring Select soccer in the RI Super Liga program.

Cost for this year's program will be $60 per player, with discounts provided for families with more than one child. Late registration fees for U8 through U14/U16 divisions will apply after June 30, 2012. Online registration for U8 through U14/U16 divisions will remain open through midnight on July 14th. U6 registration will remain open through September 3rd. A walk-in registration day will be held at the North Smithfield Public Library on Saturday, June 16th from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Computers will be available to register online and payments can be made in person. You DO NOT need to come in if you register and pay online, or register online and mail in your payment.

The program is in need of coaches and assistant coaches for all age groups to accommodate more than 400 children on 40 teams during the coming season. If interested please contact vprecreation@nsysa.org

The North Smithfield Youth Soccer Association's second annual raffle calendar will provide an opportunity to showcase your child(ren) and their friends at their soccer best! We are asking that parents please send photos by July 15th for a chance to be in the calendar, via email to JCampbell@nsysa.org. Photographs should be of 300 dpi quality. Parents/guardians must sign the photo release form during registration in order for the child(ren) to be eligible to appear in the calendar.
